Hello, I read the information about updating the template JA Mason for Joomla 5 in the blog here: https://www.joomlart.com/blog/news-updates/product-updates-more-joomla-products-updated-for-the-latest-joomla-5
In the download section I still only have the old version from 2023 available: JA Mason Template Last Update: 7 Dec 2023 Version: 2.1.0
So what about the new version? Where is it available?
premph Hello
We tested this version with Joomla 5.2.3 and PHP 8.3 without issue so we updated the quickstart package and complimentary extensions of this template in download section only.
You can still use this version in latest version of Joomla 5 🙂
premph Hello, I'm trying to install Mason for Joomla 5 quickstart and I keep getting an error after installation. https://blueskynet.com.pl/
Ok. Thanks for the info.
If you run into any issues, feel free to let me know! 😊
The installed quickstart version for J4 and J5 does not work
I do not know what is happening during the installation, zero errors, everything runs smoothly.
After installation, it does not work ...
Could you provide more details about your system? Specifically, the MySQL/MariaDB version and PHP version would be helpful.
If you’re comfortable sharing your cPanel hosting details, I can assist further. Feel free to contact me:

I'm trying to install Mason for Joomla 5 quickstart and I keep getting an error after installation !!!!
paweljacekz Hello Pawel,
If you already have Joomla installed, it's enough to install the JA Mason Template — you don't need to install the quickstart package.
Just install the following: first the T3 plugin, then the JA Mason Template. Then install JA ACM Module, JA Masthead Module, JA System Google Map plugin and that’s it.
It should work.
premph Yes I know you can check Ja Mason and accessories that work and work without a problem... BUT!!!!! I need a demo to include everything in the template!!!!! I want to want a quick start package
paweljacekz Then install this as well: JA Mason Source. Otherwise, I have no other idea.
premph I did an experiment to check if my server meets the installation requirements ... I installed JA Vega quick start package .... And it went without errors!!!! https://www.blueskynet.pl/ So the problem is in JA Mason quick start package I need Mason with demo data
premph A Mason Source. what to do with these files?
paweljacekz I think that the Vega template with the T4 Framework is the right choice. Personally, I prefer templates with T4 for my new websites. It is more powerful and allows for better template administration.
premph It's a shame that JA Mason doesn't work properly... This is the only template for me where I can find all the graphic solutions that are perfect for me... Well, there's nothing like Mason in your offer...
paweljacekz Look, I'm just a regular user like you—I'm not technical support. I've been a long-time user of the Mason template since Joomla 3 and I've never run into any issues. It's a reliable template. I saw that you managed to get it up and running—congratulations!
Describe how you solved the problem—it might be helpful for other users.
paweljacekz I sent you a message via Whatsapp, let me know if you need any further help.
premph Hello, when installing the template for the new J5 there is no problem with anything, everything works without a problem ... However, when installing JA Mason quick start package, at least for me JA Mason does not work after installation but .... After many attempts I did this ... Installation JA Mason quick start package ... Deleting the Administration directory ... Overwriting all directories with directories from a clean Joomla 5 installation ... And it worked ....
Glad to hear that you sorted it out!
Let me know if you need any further assistance 😉
