Issues with lightbox in small screens (phone, tablet etc.)

Hi. I have an installation of JA SEVEN 1.2.2
I have installed the smile pack by tassos.gr and using the gallery module. When I click on an image of the gallery on desktop, it opens smoothly in a lightbox. When I do the same on smartphone (real smartphone or smartphone view through chrome inspector), nothing happens and the screen freezes, until I refresh it.
I have installed the same module from smile pack in another test environment that runs JA SEVEN version 1.1.1 and it works perfectly in any screen size.
I guess something changed after 1.1.1 and creates confilicts. Can you please suggest a solution?

I forgot to mention that switching to Cassiopea template the smile pack module worked fine as well in any screen size.

As the developer of the extension informed me, the problem seems to be caused by the "template/ja_seven/js/template.js" JavaScript file - specifically, the last lines (117-125). These lines did not exist in the respective file of version 1.1.1 of the template. I commented out those lines and now it works.
Perhaps this should be taken into consideration for the next updates of the template.
