saguaros I agree with what's being said here. Many of us only need T4 Page Builder and 1 or 2 templates and a couple of extensions (at most).
Why pay to access everything? It doesn't make sense.
I will not renew my subscription so far. I have a big site using TELINE V, I am moving to different template this coming week.

Joomlart team, please take these comments from us seriously. None of your competitors are taking this sledgehammer, take it or leave it approach with their customers.
Regular Labs offer a €299 yearly membership for all pro extensions but you can buy a single extension only if you wish - even a free version.
Joomlashack offer a $299 yearly membership for all pro extensions on unlimited sites but you can get them all for $99 for a single site or even just buy one extension.
Tassos Marinos offers all his extensions for a €160 yearly membership but again, there are cheaper options.

Please reconsider what you are doing.

Well, here my interest Jomsocial and JoomlArt Templates. Impression areas follows:

Even Jomsocial page have a 404 when click on Pricing. Been looking until I found this thread to FIND If I want just JomSocial have to pay $299. First advise FIX the pricing link as it looks BAD a 404 error on that KEY link.

Second, FIX the recover password functionality as I had to create a new account to access the forum.

I am a JA Template subscriber and WON'T be renewing after reading this thread and the lack of clarity about JA future.

Time ago JA ahead of time used to publish in advance new update plans when a major Joomla version was about to be released, Joomla 6 due in October NO mention anywhere.

I suggest JA to speak clearly as the new $299 price purpose is to MILK what is remaining from loyal JA. Be transparent, take a stance and be ETHICAL.

I don't see me moving away from Joomla as long as it keep being updated. I do see me moving away from Developers that provide poor support, poor value, and represent HUGE risk from going away at any moment. I lost key time when Astroid Developers closed shop.

Actions and lack of clear communication is the worst a company could do. $299 PRICE is a key indication you guys are in DECLINE stage of Product LIfe Cycle and are harvesting from LOYAL customers. At DECLINE stage companies reduce expenses and resources, support.

Even if you finally take a stance and commit your loyal users, the questions posted here will remain in our heads. DO your customers a favor and Speak Clearly. The price decision speaks a ton.

First, I appreciate you making your presence known in this thread. It encourages hope that money isn't totally wasted, at least for the moment. I've been a JomSocial customer since Azrul first released it and also subscribed to JoomlArt stuff a few years ago. I chose to start a second journey into Joomla and JomSocial recently as part of a new mostly family-centered project. I am retired now and hoping it will be worth the outlay in the long run. $299 doesn't come my way very often these days. As long as you can manage to keep JomSocial updated and active, I should be fine. And, please, adjust the pricing for a single site installation using only JomSocial if possible. $299 a year isn't reasonable for just the one product.

I'm personally not concerned about AI or Web3 and see no pressing need to add any of it into your products, but then I'm not a coder. My thought process generally goes "if it's not broke, don't fix it".

Think more about options:

Jomsocial + JA Templates Duo, 1 year license, $199

With a statement of support for bugs, Joomla 6-7, PHP upgrades. Not asking for new features just the maintenance and support for new Joomla and PHP releases.

Think is a competitive pricing and value proposition $299 is out of reach for most personal, non-business projects.

Thank you very much for Joomla 6 Upgrade Plan! For me it answer my concerns. Just would like a JomSocial - JA Templates Combo ($299 is expensive for non-business sites). In my case just need Jomsocial - JA Templates. No interest in the other extensions.

...wait a minute, I just stumbled upon this post by chance...

So if I understand correctly, my Pro Plus subscription (which currently covers JA + JB and cost around $120) will, starting this year, be renewed for Joomlart only (since Joomlabamboo is truly over), and that single Joomlart subscription will now cost $299? Is this a joke?

If that's the case, I'm not even going to start my next project with Joomlart.

No new templates for many month, as I have paid for.

And now this new Joomlart One!!!!

I have paid my last subscription at Joomlart ever.

Joomlart must be on it's way down down down down in the dark.

Yes, unfortunately, it's true. The only package available is the $299 package. And not receiving any new templates for 12 months is a breach of contract and damaging to business. Joomlart has always had very good products. The support has always worked perfectly. I actually wanted to come back, but not under these conditions. I actually only use the templates and don't need the rest of the package. Dear Joomlart team: of course, you have to change these days, adapt to technological developments, but it shouldn't be at the expense of the customers who pay your salaries. If you screw them all up, there'll be nothing left to earn.

Unfortunately, if Joomlart continues to offer only a single subscription plan—which many of us don't need—and fails to introduce more affordable alternatives, I predict the company may soon be on the path to shutting down.

I genuinely hope that doesn't happen, but for now, I won't be renewing my subscription. I'll wait to see if they take any action on this issue. I hope they listen to or read what their customers are saying.

What is most concerning is this disturbing silence. I have posted several messages on the forum and have not received any replies. Firstly, this is unprofessional, and secondly, it reminds me of other situations where such silence heralded bad news...

It's clear that Joomlart isn't in an easy situation, but luckily I have a Plan B and I understood the situation in time, before proceeding with a new project with them...

EDIT: I received replies to my posts, but 10 days later... a bit long for responsive support.

Customer since 2022. Same as many others here, I only need updates at this point. Unless there is a cheaper option, or, better yet, a la carte pricing, I'm out of here.

Dear @saguaros , if someone starts a project with one of your templates knowing they'll be spending $89 a year, they expect that to be the price they'll pay.
Therefore, and I speak for myself, using some JA templates, we expect the templates to return to the price we were paying, which is $89 a year.
Which is still a lot of money, since we're only paying for, hopefully, updates because we haven't seen the new templates in over a year.
Please back to the old prices.

I was so excited when I renewed my subscription knowing that for that money I would get 12 new templates.
After 10 months I haven't received a single one. What should I expect from the new subscription? Will there be a refund for this period?

So will there be a fee (x) for the template club, a fee (y) for the extensions club and a combined fee (xy) for the 'everything club'?
I'd personally prefer a more granular approach to extensions but this is definitely a welcome development. Thanks for listening to us, I look forward to hearing your more detailed plans.

Regardless of the discussion:
In the real world, prices do not remain stagnant at the same value, but evolve over time. I remember that bread used to cost CZK 2.50.
Demanding the same price is not realistic; today, bread commonly costs CZK 80.
A 10% increase is understandable if everything works as it should.

However, I don't think everything works as it should.
The development of Joomla has been usurped by left-wing programmers from Germany, and they are making one mistake after another. Its use worldwide is in the tens of percent and declining, and I think that in a few years there will be no further development (once the subsidies for open source end).

We need to prepare for change.
We have developed about 150 extensions and applications and one template.
We are not developing everything continuously, and in the world of e-commerce, we are looking for a solution other than Joomla.

I just became aware of the pricing plan changes. Very concerning.

I was looking to add the paid extensions to my PRO subscription and noticed they are gone. Now I need to upgrade to a $299 plan just to get access to a few extensions that were at one time included with the template.

Checking the templates page to see what's new and surprised to see..... nothing. No new templates for the duration of my current subscription, one which clearly states 12 new monthly templates every year.

As for the bonus of an Ultimate Subscription or now Joomlart One:

DTH development no longer updated since v3
iJoomla SEO and Publisher no longer updated since v3
JoomlaBamboo latest update 2020
Shape5 no longer updated since v3
JomSocial v4.9
Gavick a few v5 templates, most j4 and most extensions not updated

I only use a few Joomlart templates for a variety of websites, changing content and a few modules. Currently in the process of changing JA Directory to JA Findus because the old template was based on K2 and no longer updated for J4/5/6. It's a painful process for a large site.

Most of our original Joomlart templates required changing after J3 because they were no longer updated. Understandable considering J3 was a major change.

Next was J4 and J5. Out of 243 templates 91 are J5. 38% of advertised templates. Still no complaints since there are some great features in the templates.

Now this. With J6 soon on the horizon. We require updates so will be forced to pay the 200% price increase or move on. Or we can get access to 91 templates and hope they are updated for J6 but forget about extensions, and still get a price increase of 30%.

Seriously. Did anyone at Joomlart study marketing or business? Why not keep the current pricing model and add AI and other advanced features to the Ultimate plan to make up for the non-existant current bonus templates and features we were offered. Or offer them as separate plans.

I've been here since J1.5 and grateful for the support from moderators and members. Why Joomlart would damage their reputation with the base subscribers is dumbfounding. Just read the comments.

Many of the comments posted are from people who have helped others resolve urgent template issues while we awaited updates from Joomlart. Also solving some of the coding issues well in advance of updates. I have time left on my subscription but if you lose half the base subscribers I'm afraid it's over as a business model.

I hope the management comes to their collective senses and rethink the current gameplan. Time is not on your side.
