My site is using the default t4 template . The issue is that the menu while responding takes up two lines rather than shrinking in font etc...
Can anyone help with this?

In that medium screen size, the space is not enough to show all items per line, you can consider to change the menu breakpoint in template >> Navigation >> Menu Breakpoint:
