How to get rid of module showing up in wrong position?

I am using purity IV and have the following problem:
I have my page navigation "Main Menu" in a module which is located on the left side at the "sidebar-L" position.
That same menu shows on the top in "position. None" and I can't get rid of it. Any advice?

Hi ckoestner71,
The Purity IV template automatically loads the Main menu into that location. In case you do not want to display the Main menu above the header position, you can follow these steps:

From Template dashboard select "Navigation" tab.
Select another menu in the "Select Menu Type" field.
Save and reload your website.

thanks for your reply.
However, I could not understand what you mean with "Select another menu".
When I am in menu editing, in the menu details page, the "menu type" line says "mainmenu". Do I have to write something else in there?

Finally found the setting you meant.
However, it seems not to be possible to have no menu up there at all. The template seems to require a menu up there at all costs.

ckoestner71 Because the header block you're using loads that megamenu, if you don't want to show the menu there, go to Layout settings >> edit the header block you're using >> and remove this snippet of code:
