Users getting charged twice - Stripe payment mathod - iGuru

Hi,
When checking out, if we select Stripe as our payment method, it asks for CC details before registration process and after registration process which results in duplicate charges from CC. we then have to refund the duplicated charged amount which costs us too.

is it something we have to do? or is it some kind of bug?
Please Help ASAP

Please test now, customers must login first before use Stripe payment plugin. All changes will be added in the next plugin version.

we have updated the plugin, it solved the problem but temporarily, user is getting charged twice again, and it costs us to refund the double charges.
Please have a look what could possibly the reason?

I tried to made a test, but I can not use Stripe payment plugin, I received this error:
Error: You did not set a valid publishable key. Call Stripe.setPublishableKey() with your publishable key. For more info, see https://stripe.com/docs/stripe.js
Can you please check if "Publishable KEY" and "Secret KEY" are ok?

so should i wait fro the next update of stripe plugin?

Hi,

No, no need to update the plugin, users should login first to use Stripe in Guru. The checkout button doesn't work if they are no logged.

seconds of each other last night. It was Florida laws 10 hours. So apparently problem is still there. can you please have a look

Kindly take a backup of site and update the Guru to latest version, you are still using older version of Guru.

I installed the latest Stripe Plugin, and I can do a payment on your site. For this student - iguru - I can buy this course - Prevention of Medical Errors (FL-2013-2015)
Please test and let me know if something is not ok.

Hi, issue is the thank you email now, user is not getting the email

after updating IGURU, every course material is gone, test is blank and i am getting 'Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error)' what could cause this?

Hi,

I found the issue, this file - /components/com_guru/views/gurutasks/tmpl/view.php - was commented (5-14-18view.php). I added the original file from package and issue should be fixed.

Thank You so much for all of your support and quick solutions, BUT there is still one course user is getting charged twice from, Course is "FLORIDA LAWS & RULES 10 HOURS". it happened 14th May 2018.
please resolve this issue as i have told you before, it costs me too to refund extra cost.
