In the past, I had a nice template for my website, but it is not suitable for Joomla 4 and 5. See attachment.
So I decided to look for a new easy to install template and choose JA Purity IV suitable for Joomla 5.
After reading the documentation for this template, I noticed that I would not able to get a good picture of some items.
When I look at your documentation at subject "#2: Using inbuilt Custom CSS editor" it shows an unknown editor.
I have no idea how to get that editor. I have of course installed the template JA Purity IV in Joomla 5.
I also do not know what the whole content must be in the custom.scss file. I only see a part of it. See attachment.

It would be very nice if someone would help to install this template JA Purity IV to get a website which looks like I had before.

Could you provide the old site URL? we can check and suggest some solutions to help you customize the JA Purity IV template.
1/ You can go to the Backend > System > Site template styles > JA Purity IV - default.
Open the layout setting to configure and add your CSS to Tools > Custom CSS code.

I have checked your site URL and it shows the new site is not the same as your previous image.

Dominic, I am very pleased, you would help me to install the template JA Purity IV to get a proper website.
The old website with the template of Artisteer can not be got with PHP version 8.2.
That template would be got by PHP version 7.4, but then I can not get Joomla 5 and the new JoomlArt template.

What I would try to achieve is a website which looks like I had before with the Artisteer template. See my first attachment.
I have to study the documentation file and when I met some difficult issues I let you know what it is.

When I compare my old Artisteer website with the JA Purity IV I have questions about three issues.

How can the header be placed at the top of the home page. Without the white beam with the brand JA Purity IV
How the menu be placed below the header instead of above it.
Is there a possibility to get the three articles below the text of the home page in the positions:
Position: footnav-2, Position: footnav-3, Position: footnav-4?
I have seen these positions in System > Templates: Templates (Site) > Ja_purity_iv Details and Files
Preview > Example (in a new window).

I will start from the beginning and hope to reach a proper website with this template.

Before I continue with further installation of my template, I would like to know if I have installed all the files needed.
I have installed:
1 T4 Framework plugin update
2 T4 System plugin
3 JA Purity IV template
4 JA ACM module
5 JA Extension manager component update

T4 Page Builder plugin
T4 Builder Article Integration plugin
T4 Page Builder Component
Do I have to install other files needed for my template JA Purity IV?

Hi njphoochsaet,
1/ About the position in the layout, you can go to the backend > Site template styles > ja_purity_iv - Default > Layout and move the block.

2/ About the logo, you can edit the header block and remove the logo section here:

3/ You can go to the Backend > Content > Site modules and add the module to this position.

4/ About the plugins, I think it's fine now.

I do not know, but the result I have got is not correct.

I have moved the Main body above the Breadcrumbs and saved twice
I have edited the Header - header-2. And removed line 5. Is that enough?
I have Menu placed on position breadcrumbs and the Header on position banner
It's not what I had expected. I have lost my header and I have two menus.
What have I done wrong?

Backend > Content > Site modules. There is no position Main body or Header - header-2 available.

Suddenly, I managed to change the position of the header (Banner) and the menu (Topmenu).
But the second menu remains.
When I select a menu-item, the positions of the header and menu changes!
Dominic, would you look at what happens when you click on the drop-down triangle beside menu items. It's strange.
Could you remove these triangles?

I have checked and see that you have added the Topmenu module to the breadcrumb position, I have disabled this module, and you can check your site now.

I am glad I have succeeded to get the menu on the right position, and I am satisfied with the colors I have chosen.
Installing the footer causes an odd effect.

After ja_putity_iv > Theme colors > Footer. I have chosen a green background color. Save, Save and View Site.
At the bottom of my home page, a green beamer appears. See attachment.
In this footer, I would like to place some text.
Content > Side modules > Footer. On position footer and provided with text. Status published. Save & Close.
Then there appears another green beamer below the first beamer with my text. See attachment.

I would be very pleased if the second beamer disappears and the text appears in the first beamer.
I also would like to minimize the height of the first beamer. Only the text must be visible.

Clicking on the second menu-item presents a dropdown submenu in a white field. Can that field be colored? See attachment.

1,2/ This is the foot nav section, you can configure the background or remove this section if you don't use it.

3/ To change the background of the submenu, you can add the following CSS code to the Backend > Site template styles > ja_purity_iv - Standaard > Tools > Custom CSS:

.t4-megamenu .dropdown-menu {
    background: #...;
}

Thank you, Dominic, for your advices. I have succeeded to implement them.

I would like to get an answer on my issue on the high of the footer. How can I make it less high.
When I select the menu item Media > Foto's > Catrina Hooghsaet the foto's are not placed in the middle of that page.
Which setting do I have to change or insert to make that possible.
In the article "Webverhaal Herman Hoogzaad" I have used in the option Content the plugin Content - Embed Google Docs Viewer to view a pdf file. I have used to make that page nicer, a layout-2. Where can I find to make another layout.

You should check it and give me the URL to the pages, including the backend URL.

I have tried to lower the height of the footer, but did not succeed.
I think, I don't take further steps to fix that tiny issue.
