World News submenu - how to create

Hi all,
I'm having trouble trying to produce the submenu found on the "World News" page on the demo site. See below.
I can see from the demo that it's a module: menu "Magazine menu" with a Layout of subnav.
I see that it's position is "magz-layout-top". Unfortunately I can't see that position anywhere on my layout settings.
When I publish my menu to Footer, I get a regular horizontal menu. See bottom of this page:

I'd like my menu to look and behave the same as the demo menu.
Any suggestions?

That position is loaded via the special Magazine layout menu item type of this template.

Firstly, you need to have menu item type of Magazine layout for that 'World News' menu item:

Then navigate to Blog Layout tab of this menu item and select magz-layout-top as top position:
