T4 Page Builder - Articles 50% Width and Read Next

Thanks for the help on my other problem media links not working, and not sure if I should have started another post, but here we go and sorry for the confusion and overlap.

Problems 1.

I'm currently facing an issue with the T4 Page Builder quickstart installation. The content on my website is shifting to only occupy half the page.

I've made adjustments to the menu settings, specifically using the 'Template ja_purity_iv - Default' as done by the original and provided Sample article in the T4 Page Builder quickstart installation. However, all articles in the base build of my installation are only displaying on the left half of the page.

I've taken several steps to troubleshoot the issue. I've checked the CSS, template settings, and Article Options. The Layout option in Article Options is set to 'Layout-2', but I haven't been able to achieve a full-width display for any page except for the Contact page, which is also displaying improperly.

Problems 2.

"READ NEXT" on all article pages no matter what I disable in setting or otherwise. Suspect this is a feature of T4 Framework, but I can't disable this option and don't require linking to other articles at this time.

Hi bsorli,
1/ I have helped you make the article full width. You can use the default layout. Also, if you don't use the read more in the article, all the content will show as the intro text.

About the contact page, I have helped you fix it, you can change the layout of the main body here:

2/ I have helped you disable the "Read Next" on the article pages from the Backend > Extensions > Site Modules then find the Read next module.

Amazing how easy it is to change minor content and interfaces that break and mess up article and standard pages like Contact Us. Either way, thanks for the adjustments and that's working much better! Sorli...

Sorry, but this is back again and I'm guessing it's to easy to frag the configuration and force content either Center Justified (Layout-1 or Default) or Left Justified and Half-page content (Layout-2).

I checked the information and setting previously provided, but this is already been set and won't fix the center or left (half page) justification.

Yikes this is getting old...some pages set for Default Full Justify displaying properly,

but other pages also set to Default in Article and Menu options, getting shifted to Center

and Half Page (similar read more) problems from months ago.

Please help me resolve these problems.

PLEASE also note that I went back and double checked your previous suggestions, and only update made recently related to Slideshow image (center and original size) on another forum post. Beside trying to fix my issues manually by checking and adjusting individual items replicating what I think is working and set properly.

It due to the layout these 2 articles are using, it's layout-2 and template has style for this layout like that.

I just overrode with this custom css:

/*Override style for article without sidebar*/
  
.item-page.layout-default.no-sidebar .top-article-info {
    max-width: 100%;
    text-align: inherit;
}

But it looks like your site has cache settings in server side as I don't see changes on frontend.

Pls clear cache and check again.

Are you working on your site? I tried to access backend of your site but it did not display properly.

saguaros Wow...something crapped out on the website in the last week, restoring my backup see how much I need to fix.

Update1 - sorry for the problems and tried to enable URL Rewrite on our new Joomlart 4 Spa installation and changed the htaccess.txt to .htaccess, but this botched the whole website and broke most (menu links, images, etc). Either way, I forgot to rename .htaccess back to .txt causing most of my problems that have now been resolved.

Can you try again and I've logged into to your tech support account make sure that's still working.

saguaros Hello, I doubled checked the account shown above (login and password working) and still haven't heard anything about what's happening with Left and Center justification only occurring on certain pages and not others?

saguaros Good morning...I updated the CSS, removed overlap code, and added your adjustments that force everything 100%, but my content is still pushing things Center Justified. I even tried using Page Builder that's un-needed for these basic service pages, but even Page Builder gets bumped to Center Justified even though everything on this website text wise should be Left Justified.

Please note, I'm also using JA Spa for another client and not having these issues on their interface and content is displaying properly. So I suspect there's a bug in JA Purity.

Either way, I found my problem and had to update the Template.CSS to finally fix the problem (though it will be overwritten when I update JA Purity Template). Here's my web browser and Web Developer Tools showing the cause of my problems

Here's my the fix and not sure why none of the Custom.CSS settings would take affect overriding these issues.

.item-page.layout-default.no-sidebar .top-article-info { margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: Left; max-width: 968px; }

Thinks it's a flaw in the template since I'm not having issues with other Joomla interfaces using Custom.css adjustments.
