AddThis discontinued after 31 May - what will JA replace with on templates?

After troubleshooting something with the AddThis integration set up with JA Rights template I discovered that, according to addthis.com, Oracle are pulling support and from 31 May 2023:

Existing AddThis users can expect that after May 31, 2023:
the user must immediately cease its use of AddThis services, and promptly remove all AddThis related code and technology from its websites;
AddThis buttons may disappear from the user’s websites;
the AddThis dashboard associated with the user’s registration for AddThis, and all support for AddThis services, will no longer be available;
all features of AddThis configured to interoperate with user’s websites, any other Oracle services, or any third-party tools and plug-ins will no longer function.

As this is used in JA templates, can you please share if we should be looking to use an alternative? It has stopped working on my site and I can't figure out why, but I am assuming it might be due to this problem.

Hi, Vega template is still calling the AddThis service. Since it is now defunct, where do I disable it?

JA Vega comes with JA Socialshare plugin, it doesn't include AddThis, could you review extensions on your site and see if there is any one using AddThis?

I got rid of one of the two instances of that error on the Product page by disabling "Share" on the Product page layout.

smoothtlk Which product page are you referring to? are you using 3rd party extension for it?

When you search for a product, and then view it's product description - that page.

By default, JA Rights template doesn't come with any extension which manage products. That's why which extension you're using: Virtuemart, Hikashop, or other...
