Is it possible with Purity IV to have a sticky navbar/menu?

T4 framework already supports this feature in which you can go to template style in backend of your site >> Layout settings >> Configure the header section and set 'Sticky Top' as you wish:

I've set 'Sticky Top' to default layout > header-2 but still nothing is sticky on the frontend. Does this work for you?

Update: It works on 'business' layout for example - but same changes made to 'default' layout doesn't make the header-2 sticky.

Hi Heart1 ,

I just tested and it works all fine. Please note that the JA Purity IV template supports multiple layouts, so make sure you are configuring the correct template style of the page you are working on.

Manit This works on any other template style I've tested but not for the 'default' style. I can also set 'Sticky Top' to the Topbar element of the default style - this works also!!! But it doesn't work for the header-2 element of default style.

Heart1 If your site is online, you can share us the login credentials of your site eg: URL + super admin account and tell us the template style that you can't set sticky header so we can check.

It's not online.
I just thought I've reset 'default' - but now the 'default' site totally is different than it was / should be 🙁 (only showing featured articles, no more 'section-x' areas there...)
So what's the best way now to 'begin from scratch'?
Install manually only the purity iv template zip?

If you have not customized much on this site, you can remove it and install our Quickstart package of Purity IV template - it will include sample data and setup alike our demo site, you just need to replace with your own content only.

Ok, totally began from scratch by installing the QuickStart again - I ended up with the exact same problem that sticky nav on default homepage (and timeline, contact us where landing layout is used) didn't work.

The console looks like this (what I'm wondering is the 404 on a css file here)?

I then realized that uBlock Origin Chrome Addon was active on my dev site. So I whitelisted the dev site in uBlock and voila the sticky nav is working now!

This brings in some questions:
1) What does this addthis js code is doing exactly? Is it "only" a tracking widget used by joomlart to see how many people are using purity?
2) You see uBlock and other 'tracking blocking addons' block this addthis* js code which causes sticky to not work at the beginning - which is a bad thing imho. (now that I whitlisted the dev site one time so sticky nav worked the sticky nav still works when I enable uBlock for this site again)

Absolutely not, this template use AddThis services to show the social icons that you can see in the article page of your site. You install quickstart package with sample data so this script is already added into the Global settings in template, you can remove it as you wish:
