PHP 8.0 for Shape5's templates

There are some topics discussing about PHP 8.0 update for Shape5's templates, here are some files you can update into your site when using PHP 8.0:

root/your_template/css/core/s5_vertex_addons-min.php
root/your_template/vertex/compression/class_css_and_js_compression.php
root/your_template/vertex/compression/top_css_and_js_compression.php
root/your_template/vertex/parameters.php
root/your_template//vertex/position_layouts.php

If these files exist on your site now, take backup for them first and update with attached file (unzip first)

In case that you encounter any other issue related to PHP 8.0, share me the login credentials (URL + Admin account + FTP account) and URL of page where I can replicate the errors, I will help you out.

or share me the correct syntax to update in htaccess file as it's different in each server hosting.

I have switched to php 8.0. Error 500

Oh, even the administrator of your site doesn't work.

Could you switch default template to another Joomla template instead of Shape5? and see if you can access your site.

I switched to the basic Atomic template. Unfortunately, the effect is the same. After turning on php 8.0, both the front and back end of the site do not work.

saguaros I switched the site to php 8.1 with errors but it works. However, php 8.0 shows error 500

saguaros After switching to PHP 8.0 there is an error 500. But for PHP 8.1 the site works.

I have updated many sites with the files from your above solution.
However 10 sites did not update they show http error 500 with setting of php8 or 8.1.
Is there something I can do to fix this issue instead of taking up a lot of your time?
I have had to change back to php7.4 to get the sites back online.

Same comment as redback. Thanks for providing these files in the interim. It's helped several of my sites. Still having issues when update a few sites to PHP 8.0 or 8.1, but will hopefully be able to utilize the next update.
