Menu type xLayout - Glossary not working in Joomla 4.X

My apologies for not providing a site URL. The website where I have tested the template is only in my localhost. I have upgraded my website from Joomla 3.X to 4.X, then I installed Purity III template, but when I select the menu item type "xLayout - Glossary", I get the error "0 - Call to undefined method Joomla\CMS\HTML\HTMLHelper::doSomething()". It seems the Purity III template works only for Joomla 3.X. I see you do have Purity III for Joomla 4.X but only the quickstart version. I can't use that one because I already have data in my website and I would not know how to transfer it to another website. My question is, will we have an option to download the template Purity III (not quickstart) for Joomla 4.X? If so, how soon will that be? If not, do you have any other template for Joomla 4.X that we can install with menu item type xLayout - Glossary? Please, let me know. Thanks in advance for any help you may provide.

Purity III version 2.0.1 should work well with Joomla 4 latest version, I just made a test and it worked normally:

Hi, saguaros. Thank you so much for your prompt reply. Question, when you display the category pages on your live website, you don't get an error message? If you don't, then, I wonder why I'm having this issue on my end. Let me show you a couple of screenshots of what I have here:

As you can see, when I try to display the category "Health" on my website, I see a page with this text:

You can enable the Debug mode + set Error Reporting in Global configuration, it will show the error in details

Thanks for your reply, saguaros. Now I see the problem is only on my end. I have followed your advice and have enabled the debug mode and error reporting in global configuration. Here's what I got:

saguaros Thank you so much, saguaros, for the update and for all what you are doing to help me. I didn't realize I had selected the category Flat Earth (PDF Articles). I thought I had selected Health (PDF Articles), which has the access set as Public. I have fixed that, and now that menu item is pointing at health articles. I see it's working now with no error messages, but what was the cause of the problem? It can't be the access selection because on my real website (the one I shared with you is just a "short" version of the real one), there is a login module and registered people see that error message. Is that because of the PHP version? Do I need to set it to 7.X instead of 8.X? Please, advise. Thanks again for your precious help, saguaros.

UPDATE:

It's working now on your site, the remained issue due to the access level group you set for content of that page.

In the menu item settings, you set to show content from category: Flat Earth (PDF Articles) but this category and its articles are set to 'Registered' user group only so when you access from public, it will throw error.

saguaros Please, disregard my previous question. It's working for my real website now. You were right. It was just the access level issue. I made changes to the access level on the categories, articles and menu items and now it works fine. Thanks A MILLION for your precious help. You and your development team are my new heroes!!!! saguaros Hi again, saguaros. Sorry to keep bothering you with this, but I just realized there is still a problem with the glossary layout. I have enabled the login/logout menu to help you see what's happening. When you are logged in and click on the links of the articles, ("Vitamin D and Bone Health - National Osteoporosis Foundation" and "Your Guide to Physical Activity and Your Heart") the popup window shows up for a second and then it disappears. It won't remain up. If you logout, it stays up. Why is it hiding when I'm logged in? The popup window hides so fast that there is almost no time to see the content of the article or to click on the link of the PDF file there. Please, click on this link to see what I mean: https://jml4.tierraplana.net/ . The link for the Health category is now on the left side of the page. Thanks again for all your help, saguaros. veganqueen I can't replicate the same issue at my end, could you share you real website so I can take a look?

saguaros Hi saguaros 🙂 I wish I could give you access to the real website, but it's shared with other people and they have information they don't want me to make public. But the one I uploaded to that subdomain of mine is the same I have in the real one. I used Akeeba Backup to clone it and I just deleted the data the other people won't let me share. Actually both websites, the one you can see and the other one have the same issue. Please, watch this video I just recorded from my screen that illustrates what the problem is:

veganqueen Could you try to temporarily disable all 3rd party extensions on your site and see how it goes?

I tried to install Joomla 4 + template + setup with access level for articles but could not replicate this issue. I guess a 3rd party extension may cause conflict here.

saguaros I have good news, saguaros! I found out which plugins were causing the issue. The are:

System - Helix Ultimate Framework
System - Helix3 Framework

I disabled them and now everything works fine.
