I created a course that I call membership, that has no content, let's call it just MembershipX. It's purpose is to give access to the student to many courses for one year. So I created all the courses and set the permissions so the users subscribed to MebershipX could access to all of them without having to pay for each course. All of those courses are configured to give free access to the subscribers of MembershipX. I did that a year ago and everything worked fine.
But, now, when the annual subscription on membershipX expires for any user, they cannot access to the courses they were subscribed before. Although they have renewed their membershipX annual subscription. I understand that it will be right if they have not renewed, but they did already. But, if they try to access any of the courses they were taking before the expiration of the membership, the system will charge them for the price of the course.
If they subscribe to a course they have not subscribed before, they don't have any problem. Everything works fine; they can get access to it. The problem occurs when they try to access a course they subscribed to in the previous period of the membership subscription, and that course has expired.
Is there a way to fix that? or there is a bug in this scenario?
