Menu link looses template style assignment when using url rewrite in Joomla

Joomla 3.9.22
Ja_mags_II latest

I created template styles, and assigned to menu links.
If I turn off in the joomla system the url rewriting, everything works well, when I click, the page loads with the proper template style.

If I turn ON the url rewriting, after the click on the menu, the system always goes back to the default template style.

Seems like with url rewriting the template looses the style information.

Hi
Joomla use Index.php in the URL by default. Turn the URL rewrite will remove this and if there is no code changes done Joomla will show this error. You can try the suggestion given in this post to remove index.php from URLs: https://www.joomlart.com/tutorials/joomla-tutorials/joomla-4-tutorials-how-to-remove-index-php-from-urls
