Unable to detect manifest file.

Trying to upload an S5 Vertex patch but get errors:
"Cannot find Joomla XML setup file" and
"Unable to detect manifest file"
The template is a fairly old Shape 5 template (risen_hope) and it is not updating changes I make to the theme configuration.
Swapping templates will be an absolute nightmare, so I want to try the patch to see if it fixes the problem.
Any ideas?

May I know which package did you try to install? https://www.joomlart.com/member/downloads/shape5/joomla-templates/s5-risen-hope so I will check at my end.

And S5 Risen Hope is one of our commercial templates, you should signup / renew to get updates and support as well.

gl68 Make sure that you download the template package and install in backend of your site.
