Hi,
How can I hide the Alt Text from images on the front page and category pages, (while keeping Alt Text on article pages)?
I ask about the text that appears when the mouse pointer is held over an image. Can I hide this by using custom css?
Of course, I know that I can avoid Alt Text by leaving the Alt Text field blank. But I want to keep the Alt Text associated with the images, in the system, if it becomes desirable to display it at a later time. Therefore, it is desirable to now only hide the display of the text, not remove the text permanently.
And then I have a follow-up question related to both this and to the thread below. What is written on that thread, does it mean that it is possible to change the source of the Alt Text that is displayed, from Alt Text in the intro image, to text from the article title? In that case, it will be an interesting opportunity.
If so, how can this be coded for Ja Magz II, is it best to do something similar as explained on that thread, or can it be done with custom css? I'm still talking about display on the front page and category pages, not on the article pages.
