Hi, like many still on PHP 5.6, I want to upgrade my JB Responsive template. My wesbite on www.o-em.org shows a white screen when I try to switch to PHP 7.2 because the template doesn't support this PHP version.
I have decided to look into ways that I can upgrade, and don't want to fork out so much if the site can't be migrated without a tonne of work.
I would like to upgrade my site from JB Responsive 1 to JB Responsive 2 but on PHP 7.2 or 7.3 and latest version of Joomla .... but even with JB 2 I have noticed that other people have had problems trying to upgrade - is there a developer that I can speak to about this? What I need to know is a) if it is supported, and b) if sites are currently running on this latest setup?
I followed this thread, and it seems that support was not there for it in 2018? Here are the previous thread comments:
User: "I developed a site based on Responsive2. You built that one in Joomla 3.4.5. This version doesn't support PHP7 and my provider says he won't support PHP5.6 any longer (the previous version he supports) from anywhere in 2018."
Thread answer: "Can you email me your site details and I will install the akeeba file for you"
