We was in the process of close all work on a new website when one of my assistant updated Joomlart T4 Framework. And from the moment he installed it bugs have been popping up. The that have all puzzel is the Webcomponent Error that we are getting. At first we thought it was RSTicket Pro Component causeing the problem. But they checked their software and found the error was not coming from their program. So we disable all plugins and modules one by one. But each time we clicked on the support ticket link we got the 500 JHtml::webcomponent not found Error. And yes its the T4 Template thats causing the problem! I think when you add a top and bottom module to the component area it breaks the template or stops some components from working.
Here is the email reply from RSjoomla:
From the error message you have mentioned, what you are experiencing is not something caused by RSTickets!Pro. I have searched in our component for "webcomponent" and no results were returned. The fact that this error is encountered only in the frontend area, proves that this error is caused either by your template or a module.
You can try temporarily switching to a default Joomla! template, like Protostar and see if the same error is encountered. If not, then what you are encountering is caused by your template/modules and you will have to further investigate this matter, by disabling your modules, or contact your template developer directly.
Regards!
We switched templates and everything worked like they should; which could have save us 3 days of work... Please guys fix the bugs in T4 Framework, its costing people time, and time equals money! 3 weeks of work just went out the window and now I have to explain this to my client why its going to take another two weeks to implement everything into a new template and make sure everything work...
