Hi team, I am having issues with showing the activity box (where you post status updates) for a user group. Can you please help me?

Ninja thank you, I cleared browser cache, also used Safari (never used it before with this site) and still having the same difficulties with posting activity on the main community stream and on groups.
lynnmora please make sure you are using the test user within group ID 12 (not super user account) in order to replicate this.
lynnmora I am assigning users also the "Registered" access control profile and then users can now post activity updates on Jomsocial. Still have the question on why if they have the new ACL user group only they cannot post anything.

Ninja please check again, I have assigned only one user group to the user.
lynnmora Hi its because of the ACL you set for the group. The user profile type has Registered access as per rules but you remove the Regsitered group and using only RUTRA access that not allow any access to make a post. you can view the difference in JomSocial > Configurations > Access levels to see what user group has which access.

lynnmora You are welcome ! By default Registered access is used for all user in Joomla and JomSocial. incase you add a new group you have to configure the ACL.
