Hi! When I start a new chat conversation, no mail i sent out to the member.

ahidman1 Hi Chat does not send email for new conversation, user can get notification when there is unread chat on his profile. Its not logical to get notification in chat because in chat there is instant message. suppose if a user send 100 message back to back, it will slow the server and consume the email limits.

OK. but when I open a completely new conversation with someone where no conversation is going on, it should be sent an email to the friend I started the new conversation with. I cannot access your FTP, invalid login detail. here the fix: 1. unzip this attached file 2. put it /components/com_community/controllers/chat.php
this fix will be included at next release
