Please explain in detail exactly how to do this ("resize the thumbnail of article on your site (thumbnail here is the intro image or full text image of article") saguaros
Is the JA Megafilter pulling the INTRO or FULL ARTICLE IMAGE ? This is important because we only use the INTRO image for *Header Display on Article Render
And we don't really use the FULL ARTICLE IMAGE, so if it pulls the INTRO, we have a problem as we can't have a "200px Wide" thumbnail" being used for F.A.I.
Also, this is a extremely clunky solution because that adds to our workflow - It makes 2x the work for production to create TWICE as many asset-images (1 INTRO, 1 "thumbnail" F.A.I.) for EVERY content item.
It is quite clear in all SEO research that page-size is critical for good Ranking in Google - This component is sold for hotels, car rentals, etc, where possibly 1000's of images & articles need to be filtered. This means that without good thumbnail creation, your component could render page-sizes of 100's of MB's. This is horrible to even think about - Very bad design, and we are honestly surprised that this is a light matter to you. We think that people just haven't noticed their thumbnails aren't really thumbnails but simply display-sized FULL images (horrible).
We have over 500 articles in process right now, so that means we will have over 1000 total images to process - A good extension should generate a thumbnail for this purpose. Honestly, we have never dealt with a rendering module/component which requires manual creation of extra thumbnails AND does not create its own thumbnails folder & cache.
We need you to provide a thorough solution to this, which we can implement immediately, or we will sadly require a refund for what otherwise appeared to be a very promising extension. We feel that many people's sites will suffer from Google Penalty for having 5MB + page size, which is HORRIBLE for SERP & Google Ranking. This is unnecessary from a programming standpoint.
Thank you for your help.
