Correct file edit.php to shows recaptcha in Virtuemart

Hello, The recapcha is not show in Virtuemart Registration. In this post this problem appears as a solved but I wish know what changes I must do in the file: components/com_virtuemart/views/user/tmpl/edit.php. You did that directly with ftp into the admin site, but I will like to receive this file in order made the changes myself because we have some restriction by countries to enter as a administrator and maybe you can't do it directly.

alceste Hi A fix is to copy a file components/com_virtuemart/views/user/tmpl/edit.php from Your current installation and use it to replace file located in templates/gk_storefront/html/com_virtuemart/user/edit.php

You can also simply rename templates/gk_storefront/html/com_virtuemart/user/edit.php to for example edit_old.php

teitbite Hello, I have this changes and it not runs. (The template is Storebox, not Storefront)
I copy a file components/com_virtuemart/views/user/tmpl/edit.php from my current installation and use it to replace file located in templates/gk_storebox/html/com_virtuemart/user/edit.php And I rename the old as a edit_OLD.php I try also with NewRecaptcha because it runs n breazing forms, but not runs in Virtuemart.

Whit other web with your template GKInstyle the recaptcha runs, but not with Storebox Thanks

Ninja Ups! Hello, we have it in OFF because the captcha not appears but we not test with all languages. Try register in spanish and french language. Recapcha not appears. Thanks

alceste Hi. I'm afraid I cannot access Your administrator panel. I got Error 403 Forbidden when I try. Please make small test and rename /html/com_virtuemart to /0com_virtuemart. This will reveal if problem is because of template or in Virtuemart itself. You may also run a test and switch to Protostar template which is joomla's default template.

teitbite Hello, from which country you try to connect? The problem is about Register Button on bellow. With the languages Spanish and French appears the button register and not appears the Recaptcha. With English and Italian languages the register button is only on top and then appears ok the recaptcha on bellow. You can see that. Thanks

saguaros Hello, now you can access from these countries. At the moment the captcha is OFF from VM configurations. Turned it ON when you can solve it. Thanks a lot!

I asked the development team to look over this issue, as the captcha is showing on the default Joomla templates. We will update you here once it get fixed.

saguaros I thinks it's the same password than admin Joomla Password. Is write before FTP username.
But you can also login as a superuser admin Joomla to see all if they are problems to access with FTP. Thanks

I got this message when trying to access via FileZilla ftp client, is the host correct?

If there is any limitation for specific IP address, pls add exception for my IPs here: 113.190.254.239 / 118.70.176.221
