how to start main menu at level 2 ?

How is it possible to start main nav menu at level 2 ?
See picture below :

I want to display only level in red rectangle.

yes I already know this.
But joomlart main nav is not defined from joomla menu module.
With joomlart template, main menu is selected from template settings here..See below :

And there is no option to say "start from level 1 or level 2" as it is available with joomla module.
So how to do it with joomlart template settings?

Yes, Such feature isnt to be seen currently with menu selection from T3 framework settings. Will discuss further with the team and we shall revert back soon

You can perform following steps in order to assign core Joomla menu in form of module position as envisaged -
1. You can kindly refer to this documentation for creating new module position for assigning specific module.

Note - Also, You may require to add some CSS rule-sets in order to position the module/menu items properly
Tips provided here could be of help

2) Add this code snippet in \templates\ja_medicare\tpls\blocks\header.php file

below :

Do you know approximately when this feature (choose main menu start level) will be available with T3/joomlart templates?

toonetcreation Hi. I do not think such option will be implemented. Navigation on site has multiple rules which needs to be meant in regards of SEO or user accessibility/usability. One of the rule says that the menu needs to stay unchanged in order for users to be able to navigate freely and not need to look for the available options.

This means Your request is separated and not many users will request that. But I understand that some websites requires changes out of the ordinary, so suggested by amand to replace mega menu with module position is the best option to achieve this. If You will explain the need a little but further I may also be able to provide some additional script to limit the results.

I have edited first post with all access infos.

Below some infos about what I did.

1) First of all, to edit files, go to COMPONENTS -> PROFILES

2) Then go to EXTENSIONS -> TEMPLATES -> STYLES :

related styles are VIA-AP_Home_International and VIA-AP_Pages_International
every style is linked to a specific layout (see layout tab into every style)

3) Then go to EXTENSIONS -> MODULES -> search menu international module :

you will see that this module has been published to main-menu position, linked to international menu and starting from level 2

4) Then using PROFILES go to TEMPLATES -> JA_MEDICARE -> LOCAL -> TPLS :

you will that via-home-international.php and via-pages-international.php files are using the follwoing block : <?php $this->loadBlock('via-header-international') ?>

5) With PROFILES, go to TEMPLATES -> JA_MEDICARE -> LOCAL -> TPLS -> BLOCKS :

you will related file via-header-international.php

6) The result expected is the following :

I want to display this menu starting from level 2..see reed rectangle below :

But I want to keep the same display as classic menu, see below :

toonetcreation Hi. I've tried, but this is actually more complexed than I've imagined. I do not think it will be possible, since as I believe You would like that the submenu is shown as a regular menu.

I'm afraid best option will be to create another menu with aliases to the menu You have now and selecting this menu for that particular style. It's how this should be done in the first place, without customizations and so on.

I need to keep URL like this :

www.site.com/international/financier.html
www.site.com/international/immobilier.html

is it possible?

toonetcreation Hi. Yes, that's why I suggested it. You need to create a new menu. Than add an item after an item from the second level of Your main menu selecting a type of alias and in options pointing to a menu element from main menu.

Such prepared menu will need to be selected in menu settings for this template style.
