How do I alter the main top position on the homepage

How do I alter the homepage? I am not seeing the message nor the component section. is there an installation of MegaFilter?

I am referring to the section with the words, Discover Great Places in Maldive Islands. It also has the Search button.

Home page is a JA Custom Search menu type

I tried it but was unsuccessful. How do I modify the existing settings? Where are the settings for the present demo page?
