Please disable joomla default registration
This message is present when user registration is enabled in Joomla/Global configuration/Users.
When I disable registration in Joomla there is no registration button in JomSocial.
Yes, in System - Jomsocial Redirect plug-in I have enabled override for Override com_user registration.
If I enable User registration in Joomla then there is button for user registration that follows JomSocial procedure.
Is that message:
Please disable joomla default registration
a bug, or there to indicate that we need to disable Joomla registration to have invitation functionality working?

User registration must be enabled if you want user to register on site, redirect plugin used to redirect user to Jomsocial registration, but if registration is disabled, you will not see the form.

Registration must be disabled if you want site show only invite option to user in Jomsocial.

If you do not want to use Jomsocial, you can disable it.
Also open a new thread for your issue and submit site login for staff in that with site URL.
So i can check it on your site.
