On my website www.tallandtrue.com.au I've got menus with a Menu Item Type of Category Blog (like Fiction) and a blog with a Menu Item Type of Blog View (see Blog on the menu).
In the leading-sidebar module position for the Category Blog items and sidebar-1 for the Blog View I display a Mailchimp subscription form and banner ads, including affiliate ads for Grammarly and Amazon.
I've discovered the Category Blog and Blog View pages scale differently for responsive mode. You can see this by making the browser screen narrower. At max-width: 992px the leading-sidebar for the Category Blog disappears and the modules are displayed under the article component. This doesn't happen for the Blog View sidebar-1 until the screen is much narrower. You can test this on the live website or by clicking on the following link to the staging/test website (for which I've given you admin and FTP access):
The Mailchimp subscription form and other banner adds (like Share Your Writing in the Blog) scale for the smaller screen width. And I've managed to get the Grammarly ad to do likewise (on the live website). But I cannot get the Amazon ad to do so. It uses an iframe of fixed width and I've not been able to override the width setting.
I've spent a couple of days on this problem and I've finally realised all I need to do is get the Blog View to work like the Category Blog. So, can you please tell me what CSS or layout code I need to change to get the Blog View sideview-1 modules to work like the Category Blog leading-sidebar modules when the max-width of the screen is 992px.
PS. Again, I've given you Admin and FTP access to the staging version of my live database.
