Why there is no option to include Location field for geotargeting in JomSocial integration? If JomSocial Location field is there in user profile then it should be used to display geotargeted ads. If not, display ad based on detected location.
ZliVuk Hi Sorry The profile is fields is for the registration process that has the option, except this, the ads are not integrated with the JS location. I will share your feedback with concern team.

So, before displaying geo targeted ads you geolocate each user despite the fact that user location is existing in user profile?
ZliVuk Hi Ad agency is standalone component and work with location that you will set in the Ad option. Please have a look on complete documentation how it works for Geo targeting here
I know that AdAgency uses predefined lists of states/cities/zip codes but it would make much more sense to use data already present in JomSocial user profile if JomSocial is detected/enabled/installed. Further more, JomSocial can have much detailed/precise location info in user profile so connecting it with that data would make sense. Especially now when Google has introduced payed services for geolocation and essentially removed free API keys from 11. June. If we pay for that service it makes sense to make most of that data (if it is) already present in user profile. ZliVuk Hi Jomsocial use the user location but its not the location that you can say real. Adagency use the location of user from he location on Google,Sorry it can not use Jomsocial location. I will share your feedback to development team.
I know that You are coming out of reorganization process but AdAgency really needs new version and improvements in location, JomSocial user integration and ACL access features. I have high hopes that new version is around the corner and new features will be implemented soon.

Any progress on using JomSocial Profile Location Fields for Ad targeting so we can skip using client IP address (local db based) system?
ZliVuk no progress till today. As soon a new version will be released, a newsletter will be sent to all customers, anyway, the above request will not be implemented so soon in AdAgency. Thank you!
