Login redirects not working in Socialize or JA Social II

Greetings. I have been expirimenting with Socialize template and JA Social II template. The problem I am currently having is with Community Toolbar for Socialize Template. Whenever I try to log in via the community toolbar, the browser hangs then returns the error "too many redirects." However, if I type in merakischools.com/portal, I find that the login was successful and I receive simultaneous "login successful" and "login failed" notifications (see screenshots). I have tried using Community Toolbar for Socialize as well as the default JS Toolbar, and both have the same error. I thought I would bypass this error by using JA Social II template, but when I switch to this template there is no login functionality in the header bar at all! I can enable the JS Notifications module but the notifcations are spread out across the whole bar, not as they appear in the demo.

Can somebody please provide some insight into what I am doing wrong? I am using the install files downloaded directly from this site. Thank you!

Kindly make sure you are using latest version of template and toolbar module.

Ninja Thank you so much! Do you know why I am not seeing a login feature at all in the JA Social Template bar? Am I supposed to enable the JS Toolbar and position it up there? Or am I missing something?

Hi
Every template has different module positions in its layout.
JA Social ii does not have the same position as in socialize template this is reason module was not showing in that template.

Ninja Which module do I use to show a login in the JA Social II bar? I see that I can enable the JS Notifications module to show the notifications in the bar. Do I need to download a new module or enable a certain toolbar to get the login to show up on the bar as it does on the demo site?

Ninja I apologize, I don't think I was clear. I did look through the link you sent me and they show how to add JS Notifications to the top bar, but they seem to assume that the login/ logout functionality is already there from the point of installation. My top bar shows the notifications but not the login feature. I experimented with JS Hello Me but even when I reposition this to top-header it doesn't seem to work.

aman204 Yes, I had the website switched to Socialize template for just a moment, which I have working fine now, thanks to Ninja , but my question is about JA Social II wherein everything seems to be working except the "Hi, User" message and logout/login buttons.

nathanaeljames You have the module - JS Hello me showing in head-menu position when published in Social II template however, it isnt appearing fine i.e. it is coming in vertical mode.

Kindly confirm if you wish to have it appear properly in horizontal mode somewhat alike in socialize template ?

nathanaeljames Can you update your ftp details in edit fields as it becomes quite easy and convenient to make changes in respective files through the ftp client

nathanaeljames Kindly review as the ftp path /webspace/httpdocs/merakischools.com isnt taking to the specific site directory/files

Also, Have checked the other paths but unable to find the site directory. Please provide the right path in order to access the respective site files in joomla install or recheck if the ftp details for the site have been right
