Hi there, i have a cool suggestion to make : why don't use some new features of joomla generate user profil URL ?

Don't you min that it will be more exciting to users to have a link to their profil such as : www.yourwebsite.com/myprofile rather than www.yourwebsite.com/641:myprofile ?

And it will be more SEO friendly.

This is Joomla article id option, not for 3rd party extensions.
In Jomsocial the option for custom profile URL is already present from long time. you can edit user profile and see the option : http://prntscr.com/kwvyk4
