Joomla 2.5 has been released a few weeks ago and we have updated 25 Joomla templates (for JATC) to version 2.5. Including 30 extensions (16 plugins, 13 modules, 1 component). During the Joomla 2.5 update progress we fixed 421 issues (bugs, errors etc.) all within 1 week.

Overview of 25 Templates for JATC members updated, 3 GPL^free templates updated

Dear Members,

28 of our Joomla! 1.7 templates are now updated to Joomla! 2.5.1 and released in the downloads and demo sites updated. Remaining templates would be released over the time. Please make sure to take due backup of your sites before applying any update. If you are updating from Joomla 1.7 to Joomla 2.5.x please update the JA extensions manager first and then use the same to update related products. If you have customized the templates or T3 plugin files, you should be careful to avoid overwrites.

More than 30+ extensions (modules/ plugins) provided complimentary with the templates are also updated and exported to respective template download folder, the same be updated too along with the template for optimum performance.

QuickStarts for all templates also have been updated to include Joomla!2.5. and are located in the template's download area.

T3 Framework and Free GPL templates Update

As has been tradition at JA, we update the free GPL templates on priority and having added JA Elastica this year, the number of free templates now stands at 3, as all would agree it's not the number game, its the features that matters most

Roadmap for updating our Joomla! 1.7 products to Joomla! 2.5

Preliminary testing reports have revealed some minor issues with our templates and extensions when used with Joomla! 2.5. The power of JAT3 will make upgrade tasks easier and faster. However, we still do not release anything without routine testing / checks. No hasty releases will be done just to be first to the post. Customer satisfaction is our ultimate goal.
