Hi Nhat Nguyen, thanks for the advice but I do not understand which file I edit. I tried the "templates / ja_teline_iv / index.php" but I do not think is right, inside there is the tag "title" and several other things are missing ...
What is the file to edit?

But now I have a problem even more serious, I can not even install the old version of the module ("mod_janews_fp.v1.3.5.zip") in the package files for Joomla 1.5

...how can I fix? I no longer have it the new and the old version of the module! I have nothing!

... is there another way to install it? I have also tried to install it with "Install from Directory" but I get the same error.

...I noticed one thing, I walked into the modules directory (in "joomla / modules") and I noticed that Joomla had kept the old module folder ("mod_janews_fp"), I deleted this folder and tried again to install of the module. The installation went well, but in the administrator (Module Manager) module is not ... why? I went to see it again in "joomla / modules" folder and "mod_janews_fp" was created again. If the module installation went well and even her folder was created in the "joomla / modules", because "Module Manager" module is not there? It seems that the installation went well but the module is not found! What is the problem? You can not solve?

I solved it, here is my advice and my solutions (may be useful to other users):

1) You can install new version directly over this version. Uninstallation is not required. (recommended)

2) if you want to first remove the old version should uninstall the module and remove the folder from its site. Then install the new version.


Without this right now though (to me) has remained one last problem. If I move the module into position "ja-news-1" (or a little below) the navigation of slides ("1 OF 4 <PREV | NEXT>") disappears and descends to the bottom of everything, see Attachment.

Why does this happen? you can correct the form? with the old version module (version 1.3.5) worked fine, I tried!

I think I've solved, tomorrow I explain how

- "mod_janews_fp.v1.3.5.zip" works but stop the last slide;

- "mod_janews_fp.zip" (ver 1.4.1) works, but if you change position the navigation of slides ("1 OF 4 <PREV | NEXT>") disappears and descends to the bottom of everything;

- here is my solution (that is how I solved):

I combined the two versions, I installed the "mod_janews_fp.v1.3.5.zip" and I replaced only two files of "mod_janews_fp.zip" (ver 1.4.1), the files are:

- joomla/modules/mod_janews_fp/tmpl/default/blog.php
- joomla/modules/mod_janews_fp/tmpl/default/script.js

I hope that my solution may help others!
