Hello! Which file do I edit to add or modify blocks?
How to add a left block?

good point. For the novice, it is not much help just refering people back to the wiki guide. A simple explanation of the process would help. Its like saying; to play the piano, press the keys. Apologies to Nix, but I'm still learning, so I will have to wait until the knowledge has soaked into my brain before I could advise. It's the usual case, if you know how something works, you forget how to simplyfy for thoes that don't.
