Do aliased domains count towards the domain limits of the standard memberships?

i.e. www.mainsite.com

alternatedomain.com also points to mainsite.com

then product1.com is an alias for mainsite.com/product1
product2.com is an alias for mainsite.com/product2
and product3.com is an alias mainsite.com/product3

etc...

This is 5 domains, but in reality 1 site.

The alias of a domain will not be counted to the number of licensed domain. It will be all fine if you redirect alternatedomain.comto mainsite.com.

However, if the visitor is not redirected to mainsite.com but stay on alternatedomain.com you will need to register the alternatedomain.com to our system.

then product1.com is an alias for mainsite.com/product1
product2.com is an alias for mainsite.com/product2
and product3.com is an alias mainsite.com/product3

The same policy will be applied for this case. There is one thing that we provide license to domains, not sites.

In the upcoming update of license management system. The templates will not fully function on unregistered domains.

To me the question isn' t about how many domains I can use this for. To me it is about how the whole automation works? Is it a callback? Can it potentially slow down my site? Will it in one way or another link back to Joomlart on its callback? Can it be a problem for my SEO rankings?

I would like to know a bit more about how this whole thing works please, as it is EXTREMELY important if you are even thinking about such a solution.
