Licensing and subdomains

Hi,

I have seen the information regarding licensing and the number of domains but don't see anything about subdomains.

If a domain is registered, are subdomains allowed under that licence and if so, is there a limit on the number?

Hi Roobarb,
The subdomain will be condidered and counted as the standard domain. You will have to register the subdomains and will have same limit on the total number

I have a different senario.

I'm developing a new site as somenewsite.mysite.com

I'm not using JA on mysite.com and don't plan on it. I want to use it on a site I'm temporarily creating as a subsite of mysite.com that will be moved to new domain in about a week or two when launched.

How do I proceed? I just bought 1yr from you, but have to say that your licensing is pretty convoluted. I'm hoping that you don't come back an tell me that I have to use one of my untransferable domains on mysite.com

Please let me know what to do asap. I'm readying to start applying template to the new site for client

if teh sub domain is only a development and testbed till everything is completed and moved to the clients domain I would think the development is allowed and when completely transferred to client you register that domain as the (final) site?
