JA Submit :alias author

Hello all,

i am new in this forum and my english is not so good, but i try my best to explain my problem:

I have inserted JA SUBMIT 2.1 in my site to allow my registred user to post their article to my attention for approval.

Unluckly when the users submit their writings, on JOOMLA backend the author of their articles results my self, and their usernames are located as alias author.

I don't like this solution, because i prefer that the users can read their articles in their CB profiles, and for joomla i am the author and not themselves.

How can i solve this issue? :confused:

You cannot do that as as far as I know only administrators can have their name in the author position, but having it as the Alias resolves that issue.

thanks for your prompt reply, maybe i can try to hack the joomla code :D

or maybe it is enaugh to change the status of the users into authors, i don't know.....

it is vey nice if they can change only their articles...

if someone has an idea on how to do do, please let me know.
