White space between modules and columns

Can you make a bit more white space between columns?

I use two columns for article on the Zibal template and am not quite happy with how close the words from the left and right columns come together.

Graphic Design says that white space is very important and helps make information more readable.

Note: I am more into content development rather than CSS editting. I might be able to change stuff in CSS - but I would probably end up screwing things up.
