Hey All,

URL: http://1earth1u.com
Template: JA Pariiti
Extensions: Virtuemart
Custom Development: Logo
Other Features: Slideshow, Newsflash, Ajax Shopping Cart, Australia Post Shipping Module, Secure Online transactions via Paypal

Comments...

Note: site is live & transactions will be processed > so don't actually go through to the purchase confirmation stage of checkout unless you intend to buy! Orders only for Australian customers at this stage.

Originally designed in Joomla 1.0.x & Virtuemart 1.0.x > included search engine friendly urls & captcha security > unfortunately these broke during upgrade. The hacks to resolve were too nasty for the moment - implemented ok, but tested to be unstable. Can somebody pls recommend SEF & captcha components that are stable for j1.5.x & vm 1.1.x

Thanks for your time. Feel free to test drive the site. Relax & enjoy! I'd appreciate any positive feedback, bugs & suggestions for improvement :D

Looking good.
Smartsef (http://extensions.joomla.org/component/option,com_mtree/task,viewlink/link_id,4049/Itemid,35/) is very good & 1.5 native, but I think it throws errors on checkout.
SH404SEF (http://extensions.joomla.org/component/option,com_mtree/task,viewlink/link_id,2380/Itemid,35/) is great, but runs on 1.5 in legacy only.
Those are the two best extensions I have tried, but there are others over at Joomla.org (http://extensions.joomla.org/index.php?option=com_mtree&task=listcats&cat_id=1803&Itemid=35)
Good luck!

@notjustcane: thanks for kind feedback. yeah - hopefully site will eventually take international orders, if business grows! ;)

@ instantinlaw, re: sef 404. i was using this with J! 1.0.x + vm 1.0.x but i had issues getting SEF urls for add-to-cart pages, was getting 404 page errors. ditto with J! 1.5.2 + vm 1.1.0. like you said, the sef component didnt like ajax add-to-cart.
