Fireboard Forum

Hi, I have a query regarding Fireboard forum

I have installed fireboard forum on my site www.MarathiUK.com. I use Joomla version 1.5, Community Builder 1.1

I want members to be able to interact with other members using fireboard forum without each time having to log into my site. Like Yahoo groups, I want them to be able to simply click on "reply" button so that the reply email drops into sender's In Box as well as populate the fireboard forum so that others can also view the thread if logged on my site, just like yahoo groups.

I have set up a separate email address ....forum@MarahiUK.com and this is the email address that replies need to be sent to, at the same time appear in fireboard forum

I will much appreciate any assistance in this as I want to make people interact with each other, perhaps I have not configured it correctly.

Have you not thought of adding something like Shoutbox?

Hi yes, thankss, I have installed Shoutbox.
However, with shoutbox the messages sent remain on website even after the person has logged off, would have been nice if the message was purged once user had logged off. Also I wud have preferred the message for only the recipient to see as opposed to everybody seeing it

Setting the template to default in FB back end helps me keep the site colors, if that helps.

Hi Im not sure if this reply is for me...... Im not worried about the site colours, it's the shoutbox messages that i do not want to be left over on site
