I would like to nominate:

Joomla Hosting Reviews (http://www.joomlahostingreviews.com)

This site uses a modified version of JA Erica Web 2.0.

Extensions Used: sh404SEF, jReviews, SEF Extended Patch, Fireboard and a few others.

We worked hard to remove all unneeded elements. Much time was also spent customizing the jReview templates to match the Joomlart Theme.

Content Page Example:
Lunar Hosting Review (http://www.joomlahostingreviews.com/joomla-hosting/lunarpages-review.html)

We also brought the best joomla hosts to the front page to make the information as accessible as possible.

Thanks!

Does anyone ever "nominate" sites other than their own? ;)

Here's one I just came across that I think deserves a nomination ... http://www.bestcruisespot.com/

It appears to use the JA Xenia II template w/ Community Builder and at least one very cool "Search" component
(see "search cruises" at the top) that I have yet to identify.

I just officially launched the new GuadalajaraReporter.com (http://www.guadalajarareporter.com) site yesterday afternoon. Here are some of the features of the site:

Modified JATeline template
Full Subscriptions System (based on JContent Subscription)
Full archive of 26,000 articles from their old site
Integration with OpenX advertising server

I'd also like to thank all the people in the forum who helped me to solve some of the issues I encountered while developing this site. The client is very happy with the result and within 1 hour of the site being up we had our first subscription renewal!

I'd like to nominate Public Media Digest (http://publicmediadigest.org) for Site of the Month. It's based on Teline, but also heavily customized for aesthetics and content. The site was designed by Thomas Meldgaard and includes a custom video module by Mike Wooster.

Most of the content on the front page has an access mambot in use, so full stories cannot be read by unregistered users, but for the purposes of Site of the Month visitors from here should be able to navigate around enough to judge. Have fun watching the videos - no access control there.

Again, it's http://publicmediadigest.org

Thanks!
