Hi,

Would like to configure JA_Submit to allow only registered users to submit content. (should be a walk in the park but..)

My challenge is:
No matter what combination (or single setting) I choose in "Groups users Auto Approve", anyone at all can still submit content.

For example, I have tried the following combinations:

1.
Super administrator
Administrator
Editor

2.
Super administrator
Administrator
Editor
Registered

3. Registered (by itself)

4. Superadmin (by itself)

5.
Super administrator
Administrator
Registered

and still anyone at all may submit (registered or not).

I have tried:
with editors (JCE and TinyMCE) on and off,
and also with no editor on.

Thanks for any help.. in advance

All you have to do is put the Submit new's or Submit Article link in USER MENU this way the person will have to register to get the user menu where the submit link will be

yes but what do you do if you want:
- unregistered users to publish with admin acknowledgment
- registered users to autopublish
it seems users autopublish tab is not working (at least for Joomla! 1.0.12)

I dont want just any registred user to be able to autopublish,
so I gave the "author" priviligies to do so.
Then I upgraded one user to "author" to see if it worked.
It didnt ....
He just get a "you dont have permission"
