Summary of Drupal Theme Club member feedback
The results are very clear for us, it makes us understand, that we have to move forward and improve our product and get it to the next level or it won't be sustainable this way.
- Over 60% agreed on moving Drupal Theme Club to its own place is a wise decision.
- Improving documentation materials, creating tutorials and valuable content for Drupalers is requirement.
- People really seem to love our menu and designs in general, though they have a hard time to customize it for their projects.
- And as a matter of fact, it is not well accepted working with our own custom template engine instead of the established phpTemplate engine.
Our plan for the next 3 months - Focus on D7
We will need time to recruit dedicated Drupal staff, do fundamental research of the whole Drupal ecosystem, the market for premium themes, the demand for turnkey Drupal profiles and probably enterprise level custom works.
We have to work on improving the base theme that will fully comply with the standards Drupal developers and themers are used to deal with. We are going to focus heavily on Drupal 7, distribution, performance and cloud computing ... and yes, BEAUTY. So give us 3 months and we will come back with a clear answer to: Quo vadis Drupal at JoomlArt?
